The teacher who got tired of the seven tabs
The Tutor Resource wasn’t built by hands-off software developers. It was built by David Cole, M.Ed., an educator, certified coach, and TESOL-trained ESL instructor who got tired of running a teaching business across seven-plus tabs.

Hi, I’m David. I hold a Master’s degree in Instructional Technology and have been working in education and training since 2005, first in corporate learning and development, then as adjunct faculty at Colorado Technical University, and since 2018 as a full-time online ESL instructor.
In 2021, I started building what didn’t exist yet: a complete, independently-owned ESL curriculum designed specifically for 1-on-1 online tutoring. Over the next few years, I personally created hundreds of lessons across every CEFR level and age group.
The more I built, the more I realized the problem wasn’t just materials. It was everything around the lesson. Tracking students across spreadsheets. Chasing payments. Forgetting to follow up when a student went quiet. Rebuilding the same feedback email after every session.
So I built the platform, too. The curriculum is here. The student tracking is here. The session logs, progress reports, and business tools are here. The Tutor Resource is what I wished had existed when I started teaching.
We don’t sell marketing contracts or lock you into yearly corporate fees.
