Real Life English: Day Adventures (Free Talk – Five Lessons)

Have fun talking and learning about places you can visit in your community. Through a combination of short reading excerpts and questions, learners will work on their conversational skills. These lessons are suitable for beginner (A1) learners.

This includes five free talk lessons.

  • Talk about a trip to the park, flying kites, and having a picnic
  • Talk about a trip to the beach – Things you can do at the beach and packing your beach bag
  • Talk about a trip to the zoo – What can you do and see at the zoo? Who do you go to the zoo with? What are your favorite zoo animals?
  • Talk about a trip to the farm – What can you see at the farm? Who takes care of the animals on the farm? What are your favourite farm animals?
  • Talk about a trip to the pet shop – What can you see at the pet shop? What is your favourite pet? What can you buy at the pet shop?

I hold a Bachelor of Science with an Honours degree in Biology, Bachelor of Education in Science and Math education, and a Masters of Education in Curriculum, Teaching and Learning. I also have a TEFL certificate. I have more than 10 years of classroom experience, and more than 20 years of experience working with learners of all ages. My subjects of expertise are biology, oceanography, chemistry, physics, mathematics, English as a Second Language. In addition to classroom teaching, I am an Educational Developer, and have more than 10 years of experience developing and designing e-learning and curriculum. I also have five years of experience teaching English online to second language learners in China, and many years of experience teaching first aid, home safety, and babysitting courses.
