Super Phonics

Description

This is a 10-lesson course. In each class, you will focus on two or three letters. You will have fun learning the sounds of the letters through games and songs. Each class will also present two Sight Words as well as a short story that your student will have access to after class to practice reading using the skills learned. Each class will include fun, engaging activities for young learners.

At the end of each lesson, students will be able to decode VC and CVC words, build word families by adding, deleting, and substituting onset letters and sounds, read sight words, and apply phonics and sight-reading skills to connected texts by reading a short story aloud with the teacher and independently for homework.
