Teachers Together English – L4U01 – Landforms and Bodies of Water

These lessons are part of the Teachers Together English Curriculum. The lessons in this unit are related to “Landforms and Bodies of Water“. These lessons are designed for young learners and are considered intermediate (A2).

  • Vocabulary include: mountain, mountain range, hill, cliff, cave, valley, island, plain, jungle, desert, glacier, rainforest, equator, lake, pond, fresh water, ocean, sea, salt water, river, stream, waterfall and wetland.
  • High Frequency Words (HFW) include: around, what, where, things, when, which, why, across, because, who 
  • Phonics includes: ch / tch words
  • Grammar includes: is / are, present continuous tense, and making comparisons

There are 10 complete lessons in this course. The fifth lesson is a free talk lesson, and the tenth lesson is an assessment lesson to learn more about what learners know.

As a bonus, helpful links are included to a variety of other games and resources that can be used to supplement or extend the lessons.
