Brian’s Intermediate/Advanced ESL Teaching Corner​: Electric Cars

Description: Electric cars are supposed to be the future.  Students will hear from several adults (characters in the lesson) as they share their thoughts on the pros and cons of electric cars.  Students will also do the same towards the end of class.  
Age range:  Upper elementary – middle school, adult
Level: Upper intermediate – advanced ESL student
VIPKID equivalent: level 6-8
Vocabulary: electric, charge, battery

*Note: Several students told me that electric cars are not that expensive in China.  If this is true, this may create some good discussion opportunities.

Electric Cars

Electric cars are supposed to be the future. Students will hear from several adults (characters in the lesson) as they share their thoughts on the pros and cons of electric cars. Students will also do the same towards the end of class.
